Flu Vaccinations

The best way to decrease complications and reduce the impact of the flu is to get a flu shot. The best time for vaccination is early October to mid-November.

Almost everybody can benefit from the flu shot but the following are at especially high risk and should always get vaccinated:

- Aged 65 years or older
- Living in a nursing home or long term care residence
- Heart or lung disease
- Diabetic
- Kidney disease
- Blood disorders (e.g., anemia)
- Weakened immune systems
- Infants under the age of 5
- Healthcare workers

We can administer your vaccination and keep you safe from the flu during the winter months. There is no charge for this service.
